What a beautiful place to visit. The Viaduct, the Weir, the Castle, and surrounding areas are full of history. Catch a train to York, again worth the visit. Only four stops on the train. People are very friendly and helpful. It's definitely a tourist attraction, worthy of a visit in this beautiful part of the world. I visited in January, and the Christmas decorations are still up. It's definitely stunning.
What a beautiful place Knaresborough is.. One of the main highlights is the famous Viaduct.. Stunning area for a walk.. Easy to get to the castle.
I would recommend visiting Mother Shiptons Cave as well. We really enjoyed ourselves.. 😊 …
Really nice place to visit. The atmosphere was amazing. Went there in May and the weather was so nice. The vaiduct and river was so wonderful. Easy to find car parking.
Superb location best views from the waterside, an easy walk down from the car park (pay & display) at the viaduct or down one of the paths from the town centre. Rowing boats available for hire & a selection of rather nice riverside cafes to relax & enjoy the view.
